# Trader - Stella 56

> Stella 56 is the back office for diamond wholesalers: stock, invoices and memos, payments and cheques, cash and bank, expenses and profit, on the phone and the desktop.

Trader - Stella 56 ("Stella 56") is a web app at https://trader.stella56diamonds.com, operated by Stella 56 Diamonds. The home page and the pages below are public. Every other page holds one business's private records and needs that business's sign-in; a buyer's share link (`/catalog/<token>`) is private to whoever holds it.

Sign-in is with Google or with an email address and password. With Google, Stella 56 asks only for the basic scopes (openid, email, profile): name, email address and profile picture, used to create the account and sign in. It reads no Gmail, Drive, Contacts or Calendar data.
